The final stretch decides everything: between Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez the D98a is the only road, with no alternative, and it saturates in July and August. A 1h30 journey can stretch to 2h30 in mid-afternoon. So we schedule departures early morning or after 8pm when your flight allows, and we tell you plainly when booking.

The D98a concentrates the delays on the final section, and a detour does not solve that problem.
